His value continued to increase. And he has a contract until 2025. UFABET But feels it’s time to take on a new challenge.
“I’m very happy in Italy, I love it here, I speak Italian. There are big clubs and if I can go to one of them I’d be happy.” That might be the peak.” Maxime Lopez said.
“I have had three seasons with Sassuolo and have spoken to them about my future. I am grateful to them because in some sense they started my career again. And let me show you what I can do. But it’s time to aim higher.”
“I would like a team in the south of Italy. The club that reminds me of Marseille also has a Premier League team. And I know that if De Zerbi had called me to Brighton. We would have had a serious conversation.
“I thought a few times going back to Marseille and it would be nice. But I don’t think it would be a good idea to go back like that.”
Napoli are reportedly in talks with Sassuolo for €10-15m.
De Zerbi also worked with the French midfielder at Sassuolo and they together spanned 30 games in which Lopez scored two goals.
